Privacy policy

Last updated: 21 July 2026

OGLingo (oglingo.com) is operated by Joseph David Loughran Colvin ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use OGLingo, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

How we use your data

We use your data to provide and personalise the service (scheduling your reviews, adapting the tutor to your level), to keep it reliable and secure, and to measure the performance of our advertising. We do not sell personal data.

AI processing

Messages you send to the tutor are processed by Anthropic, our AI provider, to generate replies, and spoken audio is generated by ElevenLabs. These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service.

Cookies and similar technologies

Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers we need to run OGLingo, acting on our behalf:

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, or ask us to, we delete the personal data associated with it.

Your rights

Under applicable data-protection law (including the EU/UK GDPR and Mexico’s data-protection law) you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing. To exercise any of these, email us. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
